Kay Eggleston is vice president for Institutional Effectiveness and Economic Development at Richland College of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD), where she has served since 1998. At Richland, Kay leads the college’s institutional effectiveness and performance excellence practices; college marketing and public relations; recruitment and institutional initiatives for target segments; and programmatic areas of health professions and Emeritus (55+). Eggleston is a frequent national speaker on Richland’s Baldrige practices. Richland College is the first and only community college recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
Eggleston is the Texas Association of Community College’s 2007 recipient of the Carl Nelson Administrative Leadership Award, in recognition of her exemplary community college leadership practices in Texas. She was also selected the 2007 Administrator of the Year for the Dallas County Community College District and the 2007 Administrator of the Year for Richland College.
Eggleston currently serves on the Richardson Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board of Directors. She completed a five-year term on the Board of Directors of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, where she was chairman of the Performance Excellence Council and the Garland Quality Award. She is a member of the Richardson Rotary Club, and Altrusa International Inc. of Downtown Dallas. She was a member of Leadership Richardson Class XV.
