Lori Demers is the Business Development Executive for the Enterprise, Commercial & Canada Business Transformation Division for Cisco Systems. Cisco Systems, Inc. is the worldwide leader in networking and advance technologies such as routing, switching, security, and wireless and home networking. In her current role, Lori is responsible for leading the efforts to create new sales methodologies and business processes to support delivering business value to Cisco’s customers. Prior to joining Cisco, Lori held numerous sales management and marketing positions in the high tech computer industry with over 20 years of service at Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Apple Computer.
Lori is currently on the Board of Directors for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Vice Chairman of Budget & Finance. She is involved in the Richardson Chamber’s Women in Leadership committee and assists with the hospitality committee for the annual WildRide which supports Richardson Regional Cancer Center. She is an active supporter and member of the Richardson Symphony League and serves as an Advisor to the Debutante program.
Lori was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. After receiving her B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology she relocated to Texas in the early eighties. Lori and her husband Steve have two high-spirited teens, Nathan and Danielle. Lori likes to maintain an active lifestyle combining cycling with other outdoor activities. She just completed her first Century ride and plans to ride many more in the future.
