Lori Demers

 

 

 

 

Lori Demers is the Enterprise Regional Sales Manager for Cisco Systems. In her current role, Lori is responsible for leading the sales teams focused on fortune 500 companies in North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Prior to joining Cisco, Lori held numerous sales management positions in the computer industry with over 21 years of service at Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Apple Computer, Inc..
 
In 2006 Altrusia International recognized Lori for her outstanding contribution in the high tech industry. While promoting the advancement of women in business, Lori actively serves as a mentor in rebuilding Cisco’s WAN (Women’s Action Network) organization with the goal of achieving a more diverse, globally competitive workforce through the hiring and development of women for key leadership positions. 
 
Lori is currently on the Board of Directors for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and serves as a tri-chair for the Women In Leadership committee, and as the hospitality co-chair for the annual WildRide supporting Richardson Regional Cancer Center’s Lance Armstrong Shaped Beam surgery program.    She is also a member of All Saints Catholic Church and an active supporter of the Richardson Symphony League and Debutante program. 
 
Lori was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. After receiving her B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1984 she relocated to Texas. Lori and her husband Steve have two high-spirited teens, Nathan and Danielle along with a number of animals to look after. In the past year Lori has taking up cycling to keep up with her active husband who loves to race!
