UT Dallas Offers Computer Science Classes for Working Professionals

UT Dallas is offering three computer science short courses for high-tech professionals this fall:

• .NET for Large Scale Web Development
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with UML 2.0
• Combating Social Engineering

Designed to quickly equip students with both theoretical and practical skills, all three courses provide training in fundamental issues while incorporating industry-related examples and exercises to provide maximum benefit to students.

Prospective students include not only working professionals who want to gain new skills in an area related to their work but also students interested in a new technical area. Courses require some prior training in fundamental computer science topics.

Each course is provided in an executive education format of weekly three-hour modules offered on evenings or Saturdays, and a certificate is awarded for the completion of each. Most courses last six weeks. For more information, please visit http://cs.utdallas.edu/graduate/professionaled.html.
