Capital Campaign donations are paid to the Chamber’s Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) and may have tax advantages.

Capital Campaign Status Update

In 2025, we launched a capital campaign to transform the chamber office into a modern facility that better meets the needs of the organization’s growing membership and evolving business landscape - an investment that will ensure we can remain a world-class chamber that drives prosperity for our members and community.

We are so thankful to the generous donors who helped us reach our goal!

Key objectives we achieved with their support:

MODERNIZED THE FACILITY

Updated the building’s layout to create a more efficient and welcoming space for members and visitors.

EXPANDED EVENT AND MEETING SPACES

Constructed new, flexible event and meeting spaces to accommodate a variety of functions, from educational workshops to networking receptions.

ENHANCED THE MEMBER EXPERIENCE

Redesigned the interior to foster a more collaborative and engaging environment, encouraging interaction and idea-sharing among members.

STRENGTHENED THE CHAMBER’S PRESENCE

Created a visually striking and prominent exterior that reinforces the Chamber’s role as a leader in the local business community and a partner to the City of Richardson.

To complete the project amidst a changing construction market, we are seeking an additional $300,000. These final funds will ensure every finishing touch is in place to serve our community for years to come.

If you haven’t yet joined the campaign by making a donation to the Chamber’s 501(c)(3) Foundation - now is the time. Together, we can cross the finish line!

Sincerely,

Monica Scott, Chair of the Capital Campaign

“Our Chamber has been a premiere resource for business and economic development in Richardson for decades. The planned updates to the building will be transformative for our members and the community we serve and keep the Chamber and the city at the forefront of our collective success.”

- Randy Ford, RCC Board Chair

“The city is proud to support the Chamber’s capital campaign. Our partnership with the organization has been, and will continue to be, strong. With the efforts going on with City Hall and the Library, enhancing the Chamber is not only a good thing to do, it’s the right thing for the future of Richardson.”

- Don Magner, City Manager

“We have spent the past several years ‘re-imagining’ the Chamber and enhancing its programs to better serve our members. It only makes sense to continue that effort by updating the building and creating an attractive and functional space for a lasting legacy.  This campaign will turn that desire into reality.”

- Kim Quirk, RCC President/CEO
