The volunteer efforts of our members
The volunteer efforts of our members both past and present have made the Richardson Chamber of Commerce one of the largest and most active chambers of commerce in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
When business professionals lend their time and expertise to lead the Chamber, it enables us to offer enhanced programs and more opportunities for you to grow professionally.
Volunteering is also an excellent way to maximize the value of your membership. Serving on a committee or volunteering at a Chamber event provides your more opportunities for networking, gives your business more exposure in the community and enables you to shape programs to meet the needs of your business and the business community.
The Chamber has at least 15 committees and hosts more than 30 events annually.
Consider your options, decide how much time you can serve and let us know how you would like to get involved. Each committee has its own contact person.
Like any great benefit, you get out of your membership what you put into it. Plan now how you can volunteer.
Growth & Mobility Committee
Bi-monthly luncheon for business development executives with programs on recent business expansions and relocations in Richardson, and issues related to transportation that impact the Richardson area. Cost is $15, members only. Lunch is provided.

Meeting Time: Third Wednesday of odd-numbered months
Education & Workforce Committee
Promotes excellence in education and develops programs to encourage business support at all levels of education.

Meeting Time: Third Tuesday of each month at 8:30 am
Public Policy Committee
Plans Legislative Day Event and reviews legislative issues that are of concern to the Richardson community.

Meeting Time: Second Monday of each month at 11:30 am
Event Date: Varies throughout the year
Recruits new members, conducts ribbon cutting ceremonies and hosts a variety of special events and programs, including Richardson Chamber Business Network.

Golf Tournament Committee
Organizes, promotes and administers the RCC Classic Golf Tournament in the Fall.

Richardson Business Network Committee
Coordinates with Chamber members to host the monthly evening networking, the weekly morning networking and brown bag lunch. It promotes the development of business relationships in the Richardson trade area in a casual networking environment.

Women in Leadership Committee
Organizes quarterly luncheons with speakers that focus on leadership skills and successful business strategies aimed at building leadership broadening networks.

Richardson Young Professionals
Promotes the development of an emerging group of up-and-coming leaders committed to personal and professional growth while serving the Richardson community. These young professionals live and/or work in the Richardson area.

Human Resources Committee
Plans quarterly lunch meetings featuring speakers that focus on areas of commonality for human resource professionals in Richardson.

International Concierge Committee
Professional service provider members that support incoming international companies with setting up their business and their ongoing professional services.
