Upon reading and understanding the information pertaining to the Ambassadors Committee and the responsibilities associated with being an Ambassador (listed below), I hereby submit my application for consideration into the Richardson Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee Tri-Chair. I understand I will be interviewed prior to acceptance to the Ambassador Committee.

 

Ambassador Responsibilities

 

As a member of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee, I will:

  • Assist the Chamber in continued success through member retention visits, calls, and other projects along with active participation in at least ONE of the Ambassador sub - teams.

  • Attend the monthly Ambassador Committee meeting held on the first Thursday of each month (Three excused absences allowed per year)

  • Record monthly Ambassador activity on the required points sheet and return to Committee Tri-Chair, Scott Bates at each meeting.

  • Meet and exceed the minimum required activity expectations for your chosen sub- team.

  • Retain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the Chamber.  For all Chamber events, Ambassador jacket must be worn with name badge. 

  • Maintain the highest standard of ethics while servicing member organizations and reporting Ambassador activities.

  • Volunteer to help at various Chamber events.

  • Be knowledgeable about the Chamber in areas regarding Chamber services, programs, and the business community.

  • Attend 60% of  all designated Chamber meetings, ribbon cuttings, events, etc.  You can expect to spend 8-12 hours a month with Ambassador functions.

  • Understand that I may be asked to step down from the Ambassador Committee if I am unable to fulfill my responsibilities and meet the required performance and attendance expectations.
