Monthly evening happy hour
Our informal, after-hours networking event is hosted at a Richardson Chamber member's business. It is always the third Thursday of every month from 5:30-7 pm. This is an opportunity for the host to showcase their business, introduce themselves and their staff and host 30-60 Richardson business executives.
There is no charge for attendees and the host will serve food and drinks and hand out some door prizes. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards, as PM Connections is an excellent networking opportunity. Please make plans to attend our next PM Connections event. Contact Drew Snow at 972-792-2805 to host a PM Connections or for more information.
Brown Bag lunch
Brown Bag Lunch is an inexpensive opportunity to become engaged, network with fellow members, expect to hear a high impact presentation and take part in an interesting discussion at the Chamber offices.
The format is simple, bring your lunch and the RCC provides the refreshments. For only $5 to our members and $20 to non-members, you can join a roundtable type presentation/discussion. Where else can you find an offer like this one?
Pre-order your brown bag lunch from Jersey Mike's Subs!
You can pre-order online and have it delivered to the Chamber office in time for the lunch program, or pick it up at the East Side location (corner of Campbell Rd at N. Central Expy). "Protecting personal information: A guide for businesses" - Featuring Dama Brown, Regional Director of the Southwest Region, Federal Trade Commission
Many companies keep sensitive personal information about customers or employees in their files or on their network. Having a sound security plan in place to collect only what you need, keep it safe, and dispose of it securely can help you meet your legal obligations to protect that sensitive data. Join Dama Brown, Director of the FTC's regional office in Dallas, for a discussion of the 5 key principles of a sound data security plan, data security lessons learned from past law enforcement actions, and resources available to businesses from the FTC.
